Final Assignment

Final assignments, basically communities online affect the game because everyone can take the path that they want and create their own future. They can do this by choosing different type of players,strategies for their teams, recruiters, training sessions and more. These communities also work together to help each other get to their highest rank possible. They do this by trading players and giving information about other teams. The story can also be influenced by the experience the players had with previous soccer games, as well as real life experience, for example someone who has been involved in the world and business of soccer will have a better understanding of what type of players will fit better on their team and that will give them a better performance on the field.

March 18

March 16, My players have forgot about the unfortunate game we had in La Libertadores. We have now moved on to bigger things, our team has won the last 2 league games and are now placed 2nd, 3 points away from the first team in the standings, our next game will be very big as we will face the 5th team in the standings. Fortunately our star player has returned from his red card and will be able to face our next rival.

March 15

March 15,  an archetype that can be seen in my game is the Feminine soccer. Ladies soccer is not seen and appreciated as much as mens soccer. During my career mode as a coach you are allowed to go watch a Women soccer game and show the importance of treating this sport the same as the guys. The coach ends up leaving the match with a smile in his face showing he enjoyed the game as much as the ones he coaches.

March 14

March 14, unfortunately my team was defeated by Gremio in the semi finals of La Copa Libertadores. I felt real sad when we lost because I think of all the time I've spent to reach as far as possible but we came across a better team who dominated us the whole game. Although we are out of the Cup, Im proud of the boys because they made a huge sacrifice in the field. Two ended with injuries for overusing their muscles, they kept fighting until the last minute, but this is how soccer works. Now we are looking forward to the league which we are placed 3rd in the standings. Its tough to take a loss like this but I have to say Im happy for myself for achieving one of the goals that the club gave me when I signed my contract, getting at least to the quarter finals. That is all, now we have to move on!

March 13

March 13, I have accepted the job as head coach of Sweden national team. I got to meet my players. I have the pleasure to coach big players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I believe this is a huge step forward for my future as a coach, big teams will now be able to see what I am capable of doing. We played one friendly match and tied 1-1 against Egypts national team. Im very proud of what I have achieved so far and Im looking forward for bigger things.

March 12

March 12, as the tournament goes on we have won the last two games of the league and are now placed 3rd in the standings. Our captain has returned from his injured and is ready to play again I have recieved an offer from the Sweden national team. When I got this contract offer I felt happy and made me think that my work was being valued by some people, and the hard work was paying off.

March 11

March 11, If I were to start the game again there are fundamental things that I would change in my gameplay and my personality in the game. One of the main things I would change, would be the attention and importance I give to the messages I receive. Like I mentioned in a previous blog, one of the biggest mistakes Ive made was to ignore one of my players messages. This player sent me several messages which I never payed attention to, as a consequence the player decided to not extend his contract, and step out of my team. Later on I realized this player was making such a huge impact in his new team that I realized the decision I took was terrible. Thankfully I learned from my mistakes and if I was to start my game again, this would be something I would change.

March 8

March 8, it is awesome to see how the game can change according to actions you've done earlier in the game. I remember perfectly at the beginning of the season there was a really good player who was sending me messages to give him a chance in the starting line up for him to show me what he can do. I completely ignored every message and the player ended up leaving when his contract was over. As the season went on, the player was doing amazing in his new team. He was chosen the best player of the season and led his team to his leagues championship. It made me realize that every single little action matters, the game is so good that it makes you feel like you are living the game. It made me feel like I had made a big mistake in not listening to him, he could've been the player carry my team to the highest peak but like I said, I ignored it and feel the regret for doing certain action.

March 7

March, as the tournament goes on, we have lost 1 game and won 2. We are placed 4th in the standings of the league. My injured players have been working on their injuries and theres been a huge improvement, they are now closer from being 100% healthy. Fortunately we won our quarter final game and have made it to the semis of La copa libertadores. It was a tough game, I was walking back and fourth in my room because my forwards couldn't score a goal, when the game was about to go to overtime, Juanfer Wuintero scored a nice freekick that made me go crazy.

March 6

March 6, I have coached several games by now and my team has made it to the quarter finals  of La Copa Libertadores, we are also placed 5th in the league. I feel the pressure from the fans and the president of the club, to stay in the top of the league and keeping up with La copa Libertadores, also having to deal with injuries and red cards. At this moment I have a ver important left back who pulled his hamstring and dealing with two others who have red cards. Hopefully my left back will recover for the next game of La copa

March 5

March 5, This game made me realize that I am a person who loves soccer. I feel this way because even though its just a video game, I feel the same pressure as any professional would feel. I also realized I am someone who does not like to lose no matter what the competition is, several times I get really angry at my players for not doing what I tell them to, its get me extremely frustrated to tell my player to cross the ball and they kick it out. I have also realized I am someone who spends lots of time doing extra things to reach their goal. I spend several minutes training my players which is something not mandatory, but improves your results a little bit. Fifa has clearly made me see more of who I am.

March 4

March 4, this day we got the names of the teams we were going to compete against in the first round of La Copa Libertadores, Alianza, Botafogo and Racing Club. I sent my spy to tell me things about our first opponent in this cup, Alianza. He came with some good information, his number 10 has a really good shot so we should watch out on giving him space to shoot from outside the box. We locked him down and my forward managed to score 2 goals to close the score 2-0.

March 3

March 3, today I trained with my players and worked on improving their finishing. Ive been feeling like my team does not score as much goals as we should so getting them some shooting drills will help them out. After the training session I saw some improvement on the forwards but the midfielders did not improve a bit.

March 2

March 2, two days away from the most important game of the season, we are playing away against our biggest rival. I get a note from the doctor of the club, telling me that our key player got injured during our training session and will be out for Sundays game. I decide to start a player with similar characteristics to the injured one. Game day comes and this player i put as replacement appears to ball out and score the game winning goal.

March 1

March 1, Today I played several games, two of my players got injured so I had to find young players from the reserves to replace them. During one of the matches my center back got injured, I looked at my bench and had no center backs to sub in for the injured one. It was a hard game so I felt the pressure to find the right player to fit that position. Finally I chose Echeverria a right back to play as center back, he played well although we got scored on and ended the game 1-1.

February 28

February 28, How does my player react to the challenge. My player, is sometimes seen nervous. This feeling comes when the game is really tight and you need to win it in order to get those 3 points and reach the top of the league. Feeling this way also comes when the character realizes that the team is not doing well. The character as the coach does not have much power over the players. The coach tries to make the right substitutes but they sometimes not work and things go wrong. When achieving the challenge, myself as the character feel amazing, you feel like you are in the stadium around millions of people congratulating you. Journalists ask you what you did to achieve your goals as well as getting messages from the president of the club. These type of things make you get the goose bumps of being present at the time and forget that you are just playing a video game.

February 27

February 27, I began playing FIFA career mode. I am the coaching a first division team. The challenge this game posses is to reach the goal the president of the club gives you. I signed a contract that said I had to get to at least the quarter finals of La copa Libertadores and get in the top 5 of the league. At the end of the season they will see if I am able to keep that job or not based on how well I did with the requirements and/or if they saw an improvement on the team. The game allows me to do several things. They give me an amount of money for me to buy and recruit other players as well as stuff members to help improve my players performances, also this game allows me to control the players during the games and make the right substitutes to adjust to my game.
